Living Faith and the PUCC joined together to worship at Hillview on Sunday! Thank you to Pastor Paige and Pastor Jan for leading worship!

The PUCC praise team, Grace Notes, led us in song!
Thank you to those who assisted with worship: Tim Kass, Mike Cunningham, Kay Michaelson and Sue Stream.

Following worship, all enjoyed a potluck meal! Thank you to the PUCC for providing the pulled pork sandwiches!

There were so many individuals who worked to make this worship and fellowship time so special! Thank you to those who printed bulletins, those who ushered, Grace Notes who prepared, rehearsed and provided music, those who set up the worship space and potluck space and took these spaces down, those who brought delicious side dishes and desserts, those who prepared Holy Communion, and those who arranged for our use of this space.
This Coming Sunday, October 26!

Living Faith will commemorate the Reformation on Sunday with Pastor Paige McGrath presiding over worship. Wear red! At this same service, Jordan Kopperud will be confirmed in the faith! Jordan's parents are Judd and Kari Kopperud.
Gail Kass will accompany us on the piano and Dave Grosenheider will read scripture. If you would like to assist with Holy Communion, please let Kay know. Tim Kass will usher and run the sound board.
Living Faith worships in the sanctuary of the Presbyterian United Church of Christ (858 7th Ave. SE) at 11:00 AM. We would love to have you join us and worship with us!

At 10:00 AM on Sunday, the Kopperud family will host a reception for Jordan in the Fellowship Hall of the PUCC. All are invited to come and celebrate with Jordan and his family.

The Noisy Offering box will be out on the Living Faith table in the narthex with Sunday being the last Sunday in October!
S'mores and Ashes on Sunday at 4:00!

Grab your lawn chairs and come to the Le Mars Municipal Park (located directly west of the tennis and pickleball courts out by the Le Mars Willow Creek golf course clubhouse) at 4:00 to watch the burning of the palm branches collected after Palm Sunday 2025. The ashes produced will be used for Ash Wednesday 2026! Afterwards, we will gather around a bonfire for s'mores and conversation!

;Confirmation classes for Living Faith and Christ Lutheran Church, Grant Township, will meet Wednesday at 7:00 in the Fellowship Hall of the PUCC. Thank you to Dalton Bunnell from Lutheran Lakeside Camp who worked and played with the Confirmation students and their mentors last Wednesday. Dalton led a Bible study on community with those gathered!

October Mission Project

We are in our final week of collecting items to send to our service men and women who are serving overseas with the Iowa National Guard including Mitch Lang, son of Todd and Kim Lang and Maddie Keunen who worships with the PUCC. There is a collection bin in the narthex of the PUCC at the Living Faith table for your items. If there is an item you would like to have go to Mitch specifically, please label it with his initials, ML.
Please also consider writing a letter of encouragement to Mitch and/or Maddie. These notes will be included in the mailing. There is a basket on the Living Faith table for these notes.
