We are Living Faith Lutheran Church.
Our faith community believes
that all are welcome here.
The story of Living Faith Lutheran begins with the idea that all people are welcome to worship. Our church promotes an open, welcoming, and affirming faith experience in Le Mars, Iowa. Living Faith Lutheran Church is affiliated with the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
Represented in our worship, mission, and even our logo, we believe that faith is comprised of diversity. In a world torn apart by judgment, conflict, and divisiveness, Living Faith Lutheran is a sanctuary where no matter what your religious background, who you choose to love, or the color of your skin, we are meant to come together in a safe community of worshippers to honor the One who paid the ultimate sacrifice for our salvation.
God's grace is what saves us, and it is in His grace that we are held together.
Worship for us is more of a verb than a noun. As our faith family grows, Living Faith Lutheran will take its mission into the community, serving as the hands and feet of Jesus.

Timothy Kass
Chairman
Tim is a retired employee of the Le Mars Community School District. He is married to Gail (also pictured), and they live in Merrill. He is a father of two children and grandfather to three grandkids. He is proud to be a life-long Lutheran and has been active in the church for most of his life. Tim enjoys helping with our church activities...here he is helping to assemble flood buckets to aid western Iowa families impacted by recent floods.
Todd Lang
Vice President
Todd Lang was affirmed to the Living Faith Leadership Team at the church's Annual Meeting on Sunday, April 7, 2024. Todd is married to Kim and, together, have three children and four grandchildren. Todd enjoys doing projects with Living Faith Lutheran, like this one where he is sprucing up the stage for Outdoor Worship.
Sandy Heeren
Treasurer
Sandy is married to Jim, and together they have two grown children. Sandy enjoys reading, going to concerts, and traveling. Sandy is excited about joining the church Council and working to help Living Faith continue to grow.

Kay Michaelson
Kay (left) is the wife of Brian, mother to Adam and Jenelle, mother-in-law to Rachelle and Caleb, and grandmother to Lyla, McCoy, Nash, Kinley and Anniston - Kay would tell you that they are the most special grandchildren on the planet! Retired from the Le Mars Community School District, she loves to read but seems to spend a lot of time emailing...to which many can attest! Says, Kay. "I’m excited to see where God leads Living Faith in its day-to-day presence in our community, state, nation and world."

Angela Catton
Angela is married to Mark and together have five children and one grandson. Angela works in public relations in the electric industry. Angela is a proud, life-long Lutheran and feels strongly that a church isn't just a place to attend services on Sunday, but a place to belong as a member of a faith family, lifting each other up and serving others as Jesus taught us. "I have felt the call to help in the formation of Living Faith Lutheran and I am so proud of our faith family for creating a loving and welcoming place of worship."
Our Pastor
Pastor Paige McGrath
Pastor Paige (she/her) joined Living Faith Lutheran Church in April of 2025. Pastor Paige is especially gifted in children’s ministry, preaching, and teaching. She likes to bring creativity and new life to worship and Bible studies. Some of her most meaningful moments of ministry have been at camp, in hospital rooms, and parking lots. She believes God shows up in unexpected places through unlikely people. Sometimes she is lucky enough to be one of those people.
