**Living Faith greeted parade goers at the Annual Ice Cream Days Parade on a hot and windy Saturday morning! See more photos from the day below!**

Led by Pastor Paige, Living Faith's Sunday worship contained elements designed to open our hearts and minds to the Juneteenth observance and its message to us. One of those elements was a Children's Sermon with the game of "This or That" which pointed out differences we all have, but in the end, Pastor Paige guided us to the most important element that binds us all together.

Thank you to Kay Michaelson for reading scripture, Angela Catton for assisting with Holy Communion and live streaming our service. Thank you to Tim Kass for ushering and running the sound board. Thank you to those who counted our offering after worship: Sharon Utesch and Brian Michaelson. Thank you to those who helped take care of the sanctuary after worship: Tim Kass, Angela Catton, Clayton Whitehead, and Caleb, Jenelle, Kinley and Anniston Van Otterloo.

**Next Sunday is the Third Sunday after Pentecost and it's also....**

Living Faith will welcome new members next Sunday! If you would like to join Living Faith on this special Sunday and have not yet spoken to Pastor Paige, please reach out to her at 712-541-3782.

Worship is held at 11:00 AM within the sanctuary of the Presbyterian United Church of Christ at 858 7th Ave. SE in Le Mars. All are welcome and we look forward to greeting you! Karen Schroeder will read Scripture, Peg McAllister will assist with Holy Communion and Travis Balt will accompany us on the piano.

To celebrate our new members, we will have a Potluck Lunch following worship in the Fellowship Hall! Bring a main dish or side dish or dessert to share. Table service and beverages will be provided!

**If you are able to stay following the Potluck, we will be having a Painting Party in Pastor Paige's office! Bring trays, liners, rollers, brushes, and ladders! Paint is provided!**

Don't forget that Faith + Fellowship happens every Sunday morning at 10:00 in the Fellowship Hall of the PUCC. It's a time to connect with fellow Living Faith-ers as well as members of the PUCC!

**Unbelievably, it's the last Sunday of the month next week! The Noisy Offering box will be out on the Living Faith table in the Narthex!**

Our Outdoor Worship service will be held Sunday, July 13th at 11:00 on the front lawn of the Presbyterian United Church of Christ! Pastor Paige will lead worship and Dave Grosenheider will lead music for us! Bring a lawn chair or blanket and come be a part of this special day of worship which will include Holy Communion!
After worship, we will have a picnic lunch in the Fellowship Hall! The Church Council will serve the main dish and have beverages for you! Please bring a side dish or dessert to share and your table service!

Also on July 13, Living Faith will hold a Sunday morning VBS session from 9:00 - 10:45 for 4 years old and up at the church!

Pick up and fill out a VBS registration form from the Living Faith table on Sunday and turn in to Pastor Paige! More details will be coming soon!

Coffee and bars will be served. Lunch will be taco salads from Taco John's which will be ordered when you arrive if you wish to have this for lunch. The cost is $6. Please bring your own drink for lunch. If you have the following supplies, please bring: scissors, thread, needles, sewing machine and extension cord, serger, rotary cutter and large cutting mat. (The graphic above lists the start time as 9:00 but it should read 9:30. Do-Day will run from 9:30 - 3:00.)

Woo Hoo! Living Faith t-shirts and sweatshirts have been re-stocked! If you would like to snag one for yourself or a family member, please contact Angela Catton (712-301-8545)!

Pastor Paige's office hours are 10 - 2 on Mondays and 1 - 4 on Thursdays! Her office is located in Room 105 which is right across from the second set of doors into the Fellowship Hall as you go down the hallway towards the Chapel.

Pastor Paige also has a new email for you to use if you'd like to reach out to her in that manner: pastor@livingfaithlemars.com.

Living Faith also has a new telephone number for you: 712-541-3782. This is a second line into Pastor Paige's cell phone which will be used exclusively as our Living Faith number.

Thank you to those who have volunteered to count our plate offerings after worship: Yvonne Law, Brian Michaelson, Sharon Utesch, and Mark and Cheryl Juhl. We can always use more volunteers so if you would like to help, just let Sandy Heeren know!

**It didn't rain on our parade this year! It just blew and blew!**

Living Faith gathered on the boulevard on Saturday morning to assemble our float for our third year of having an entry in the Ice Cream Days parade! Thank you to Angela Catton for her work in devising the idea for our float and it's theme, "We love because He first loved us!" Thank you to Peg McAllister for the beautiful signs we had for the float!

We had a great crew helping to set the float up early Saturday morning: Tim and Gail Kass, Travis Balt, Clayton Whitehead, Angela Catton, Sandy Heeren, Kay Michaelson, Sharon Utesch,and John and Peg McAllister. Thank you to Philip Kass for loaning us his trailer and to Tim Kass for rigging it up for us with our banner and driving his pickup for us. Thank you to Mark Juhl for providing the chairs for the riders.

Our float riders headed down Central Avenue ready to spread the Good News of Jesus to all parade goers: Gail Kass, Yvonne Law, Sharon Utesch, Mark Juhl, Shawn Shipley, Jenni and Casey Mack, Pastor Paige and John and Peg McAllister! Thank you to our riders who braved the heat and wind on the float!

Candy was dished out to those on the route thanks to the generosity of many Living Faith members who made donations! Those who walked down Central to hand out candy were: Angela Catton, Clayton Whitehead, Travis Balt and Kay Michaelson. Thank you to Brian Michaelson who manned the candy buckets in the pickup!
