Living Faith gathered on the last Sunday after Pentecost to hear a message of hope from Pastor Paige and to learn of the many opportunities Lutheran Lakeside Bible Camp offers to all ages!
Our service began with a song of welcome led by Dalton!

Dalton brought information to Living Faith about the Bible Camp's programming for all ages as well as how the Camp is working within the Spirit Lake community by filling the need for after school child care! Living Faith offers a $100 scholarship to any student who would like to attend summer camp. If you would like more information about Lutheran Lakeside, see their website: www.lutheranlakeside.com or contact Pastor Paige.
Dalton shared a children's message with the kids of Living Faith and led us in song! Thank you for being with us, Dalton!
Thank you to Pastor Paige for leading us in worship!

Thank you to all who helped during and after the service: Gail Kass, John and Peg McAllister, Tim Kass, Travis Balt, Angela Catton, Sue Stream, Sharon Utesch, Mark and Cheryl Juhl, and Brian Michaelson.

This coming Sunday is Christ the King Sunday! All are welcome to join Pastor Paige in the sanctuary of the Presbyterian United Church of Christ (858 7th Ave. SE) at 11:00 AM to celebrate this day with all of Living Faith! Dawn Richards will accompany us on the piano, Karen Schroeder will read scripture, and Peg McAllister will assist with Holy Communion. Tim Kass will greet you at the door with a bulletin and Angela Catton will live stream our service.

9:30 is the time and Room 105 is the place! Come to church early on Sunday morning and join in the Bible Study led by Pastor Paige!

Following Bible Study, get a cup of coffee and treat in the Fellowship Hall at 10:30 to enjoy conversation prior to worship. Gail Kass will be serving up goodies this week!
Sunday Retirement Open House for Pastor Halaas

Pastor Paige will design Sunday's worship such that those members who wish to travel to St. Mark Lutheran Church in Sioux City for Pastor Halaas' open house and its 12:30 program can arrive on time. After the short program, there will be time to greet Pastor Halaas and wish him well. There is a car pool leaving from church if you wish to have a ride! Wear your Living Faith gear and bring a card of congratulations along! If you cannot attend, you are invited to send greetings to his home, 4015 Perry Way, Sioux City, 51104.
Living Faith Is Collecting Donations for The Table and the Le Mars Backpack Program

This basket will be out on Sunday for you to drop your donations into. Look for it in the back of the sanctuary! Living Faith will be collecting monetary donations until Sunday, December 7th. The Table is increasing its hours to give out food during these next few weeks and is in need of extra cereal, eggs, meat and creamed soups. Our donations will go towards the purchase of these items. The Le Mars Backpack program is in need of cereal and hot food items and, according to a recent radio interview, the program is low on funds. All donations will be split between these two charities who are working to feed those in need at this time. Additionally, a Thrivent action card is being applied for to be given to the Le Mars Backpack program for them to use for their food purchases.
