Last Week
Pastor Halaas led us in worship and gave us a lesson in Lutheran Theology 101! First, God loves you and in response, You love! Check out his message which expands on this basic theology: https://www.facebook.com/100088436872154/videos/2046354395746029
You will hear: Love is inclusive, but it is hard. Do you love with your fingers crossed? "We love because God first loved us." 1 John 4:7. Loved people love people, forgiven people forgive others, healed people share their healing with others. God's love will always make a new person out of you...always!

Thank you to Pastor Halaas, Gail Kass, Debbie Gibson, and Tim Kass for all they prepared and did for our worship on Sunday!

This Week
Living Faith invites ALL to worship! We will celebrate our Mothers and also all females of Living Faith with a special presentation! We worship in the Chapel at the PUCC (858 7th Ave. SE) beginning at 11:15! Kay Michaelson will read Scripture. Ardis Boetger will greet you at the door. If you would like to help serve Communion, please let Kay know.
Living Faith Celebrates Our Mothers
Who belongs to each of these lovely mothers? Come to Living Faith on Sunday where their identities will be revealed!
If you would like to add your mother's picture to this group of lovely women, please email or text your picture to Kay!

Tim and Gail Kass will have refreshments ready at 10:15 in Room 103 for Faith + Fellowship Time on Sunday morning! After sharing highs and lows for the week, we will discuss the Gospel text for the day in preparation for hearing Pastor Halaas' message during worship! Get your Mother's Day off to a lovely start by joining us at 10:15!

It's graduation season and Living Faith congratulates Tucker Heeren, son of Jim and Sandy Heeren upon his graduation from the University of South Dakota!

The PUCC is hosting a Rummage Sale this Thursday, Friday and Saturday (See the hours in the graphic). If you have any items you would like to donate for this sale, please deliver them to the PUCC on Tuesday or Wednesday between the hours of 10:00 and 1:00.
The PUCC will also be holding a Bake Sale on Friday only. If you would like to make a donation of baked goods, please prepare and mark for sale the amount on your item(s) and deliver them to the church between the hours of 3:00 - 7:00 on Thursday. Proceeds go to Noah's Ark Preschool.

If you would like to donate towards disaster relief for those who suffered losses in the recent tornadoes in Iowa and Nebraska, there are envelopes available for you on the sign up table.

You can indicate your donation for tornado relief by making checks out to Lutheran Disaster Response and in the memo write US Tornado Relief. You can drop this in the offering plate or mail it to the address on the back of the envelope. Daily prayers for those affected are appreciated as well!

Living Faithfully
Living Faith's website has a new link called Living Faithfully! Please check it out!
One of the features of Living Faithfully is the 7 Practices of Faithful Living.
Faithful Practice Number 1 is Pray...Prayer...Pray Frequently.
Here are the ways Living Faith works to put this into practice within our faith community:
Those who are in need of prayer are listed in our weekly news and in the weekly Sunday bulletin.
When prayers are requested, those requests are sent out to Living Faith-ers via email.
Prayer is offered during worship.
Living Faith has adopted All Pray Together which is an initiative to have each member pray for another fellow member. Members get new prayer partners every 3 months or so.
Meetings and gatherings are opened and closed with a word of prayer.
If there is another prayer practice you would like to see Living Faith adopt, please let Pastor Halaas or any member of the Leadership Team know! Also, if there are other things we can do to help you with your prayer life, please reach out!

Please hold in prayer:
Ben Green and his family
Rhonda - Gail Kass' sister
Karin - Ted Hallberg's sister
Marilynn - Rich & Jean Ziettlow's sister-in-law
Gladys - Julie Hurt's grandmother
Kipp - Mark & Cheryl Juhl's nephew
Hannah Curtis and Andrew Cox
Ashley - Dell & June Ferguson's daughter
Chris Ketelsen and her mother
All those impacted by the tornado activity recently and those who are assisting in recovery
