Pastor Kris Hackbart led Living Faith in worship on the Second Sunday after Christmas!

Thank you, Pastor Kris, for traveling to Le Mars to be with us!

Sunday, January 11th - Baptism of Our Lord and the First Sunday after Epiphany

Pastor Paige will return to lead us in worship! Living Faith welcomes ALL to worship on Sunday at 11:00 AM in the sanctuary of the Presbyterian United Church of Christ at 858 7th Ave. SE in Le Mars!

Gail Kass will accompany us on the piano and Karen Schroeder will read scripture and Mark Catton will assist with Holy Communion.

Tim Kass will greet you at the door with a bulletin and run our sound board. Angela Catton will live stream our service.

An invitation is extended to all to come early on Sunday for our weekly Bible Study. We gather for conversation at 9:30 AM prior to worship in Room 105. Pastor Paige leads our study and there's always room around the table for YOU!

From 10:30 - 11:00, Living Faith enjoys coffee and conversation in the Fellowship Hall of the PUCC with our friends from the PUCC. This is a great way to catch up with friends before going into worship at 11:00!

Thank you to all the Living Faith members who made coffee and provided treats for last week's time of fellowship! We appreciate you!

Confirmation reconvenes on Wednesday, January 7th at 7:00. For the second semester, students will meet at Christ Lutheran Church, Preston Township.

Packing Snack Packs for Le Mars Community Schools and Gehlen Catholic Schools!

Mark your calendars for Monday, January 12 at 4:30 to come on out to Nohava Construction (209 2nd Ave. SW) to pack snacks for the Friday distribution of snack bags for needy students at our local schools! Enter through the marked door on the east side of the building. Depending on the amount of volunteers, this project will likely take about a half hour. Wear your Living Faith gear!

The Church Council will meet on Monday, January 12th at 6:30. One of our agenda items will be to prepare for our Annual Meeting on Sunday, February 1st.

Living Faith's Annual Meeting will take place Sunday, February 1st. There will be a 2025 celebration meal immediately after worship followed by our business meeting to prepare for 2026.

The 2026 Women of the ELCA Gathering will take place from July 16 - 19 in Des Moines at the Iowa Event Center, Des Moines Convention Center. Early bird registration ends on Tuesday. Early bird registration costs are $475. There are also registration costs for girls under the age of 18. Likely, Living Faith will be able to assist with costs retroactively.

If Living Faith has more than one attendee, car pooling is something that can be arranged as well!

Thank you to everyone who said, "Farewell!" to Christmas by taking down the Living Faith trees and wreaths as well as assisting our PUCC friends!

Please stop by the Living Faith table in the narthex of the PUCC to volunteer for needs we have in worship: readers and communion assistants! We appreciate all who contribute to worship on Sunday!
