Explore the beginnings of Jesus' ministry by joining us in the Chapel at 11:15 on Sunday! We can't wait to welcome you!

Last week:

There's something about worshiping on a Sunday morning with the sun's warmth right outside the church! That warmth transferred into the Chapel as we talked about Jesus and how he astounds (astonishes, amazes, stuns, surprises, flabbergasts, stupefies, thunder-strikes, dumbfounds, shocks and dazes) us! Thank you to Pastor Halaas for bringing us this message (Find Living Faith's Facebook page to listen to this sermon!) and accompanying us, Karen Schroeder for reading Scripture, Peg McAllister for assisting with Holy Communion and baking bread for distribution, Tim Kass for ushering and Angela Catton for live streaming the service.

This Week:

All are welcome to the Chapel at the Presbyterian United Church of Christ, 858 7th Ave. SE, at 11:15 for worship. Park in the back of the parking lot and enter through the door marked with the logo of Living Faith. Come in and take the hallway to your left and the Chapel is at the end of that hallway on your right. Pastor Halaas will be leading us in worship, Gail Kass will accompany us on the piano, and Yvonne Law will read Scripture. Let Kay Michaelson know if you are willing to assist with Holy Communion on Sunday!

10:15 is the time and Room 103 is the place for our Faith + Fellowship time. We spend this hour catching up with each other and discussing the Gospel text for the day. Oh! And we enjoy refreshments! Tim Kass gets the coffee going and June Ferguson will provide treats to eat! Angela Catton leads the discussion on Sunday! Come before worship to enjoy this fellowship!

Living Faith in Action!

  1. Mission Honduras participants will take any of the following donations when they travel to that country in March:

  2. Is there interest in assisting with Meals on Wheels in Le Mars?

ree

Living Faith has been contacted and asked to participate in this ministry. We would be responsible for 2 weeks of delivery, Monday through Friday from 10:45 - 12:00. There are 2 routes so we would need 4 people (a driver and a deliverer to the door) each day to cover those 2 routes. If you are interested in serving, you would not have to deliver every day - just as your schedule would allow.

There will be a sign up sheet to gauge interest and availability on the sign up table outside the Chapel. Please take time to stop by and sign up if you would like to help in the future.

The schedule for Meals on Wheels has been booked out until April so we would not begin to help with this until April or beyond.

3. Living Faith is participating in the Le Mars' Chamber of Commerce Welcome Basket program for individuals new to our community.

ree

Angela Catton has created a popcorn themed Living Faith brochure which comes with a blessing for a new home and a box of popcorn. Estimates are that the Chamber will hand out 100 baskets over the course of 2024!
