Last Week
After worshiping from home the week before, it was good to gather in the PUCC Chapel to worship together! Thank you to Pastor Joy for presiding at worship and delivering a thought-provoking message as always! Thank you also to Dawn Richards, Kay Allen, Nathan Summerside, Angela Catton, Tim Kass and Peg McAllister for their contributions to our worship service!
Kari Kopperud has begun to distribute financial reports from 2023. Please see her if you have not received yours! Thank you, Kari!
This Week
All are welcome to worship with us at our service in the Chapel of the PUCC (878 7th Ave. SE) at 11:15! Pastor David Halaas will preside, Dawn Richards will accompany us, Karen Schroeder will read Scripture and Peg McAllister will assist with Holy Communion.

Be with us this Sunday at 10:15 in Room 103 for our Faith + Fellowship Hour where we catch up with each other and explore the Gospel lesson for the Sunday in preparation for hearing the message that will be delivered for us at the worship service that follows. This week we will discuss Mark 1: 21 - 28: "I know who you are, the Holy One of God."
The coffee pot is on for you! If you'd like to provide treats for this hour, please let Kay Michaelson know!

Ash Wednesday Service at Living Faith
We will observe Ash Wednesday on Wednesday, February 14 at 5:00 in the Chapel of the PUCC. Pastor Trish Underberg will preside over the Imposition of Ashes and Holy Communion.
Mark your calendars to join us for this first day of the Season of Lent.

Wednesday Night Lenten Meals will begin on Wednesday, February 21 at 5:30 with a soup/sandwich/desserts supper.
Check the sign up sheet on the sign up table to volunteer to bring items for this first meal!

Lenten Season Discussion Opportunity
At 6:15 on Wednesdays, beginning February 21, Living Faith will host an ELCA sponsored study of Civic Life and Faith throughout the Lenten season. These five sessions, which will feature video speakers and discussion time, invite you to join a conversation about religious liberty, the proper role of the church in relation to government, and many other critical topics.

It's time to think about Bible Camp! See the sign up table for the summer camp schedule at Lutheran Lakeside or go to their website: www.lutheranlakeside.com for more information about camp!
Living Faith will contribute $100 towards camp fees for every student who registers to attend!

This page was a part of the Western Iowa Synod's January newsletter! Members from St. Mark Lutheran Church of Storm Lake will join Living Faith for worship on Sunday, February 18 to present us with a donation of copies of All Creation Sings! Come worship with us this day to experience new music led by Pastor Halaas and to thank St. Mark for their generous gift!
