We blessed and prayed for our teachers, school personnel and students as they return to the classroom this week. Charms were handed out to all and there are some left over, so please stop by the sign up table outside the Chapel and pick one up for family members this coming week!

Thank you to Sharon Utesch for providing treats on Sunday! Gail Kass will bring treats this coming Sunday. Join us in Room 103 at 10:00 for a session which will allow us to find out how our week went and then we will look ahead to the day's Gospel lesson to prepare us for what we will experience during worship at 11:00!

In our discussion with Pastor Denne last week, we talked about using scripture to pray and listen to God and Mark Juhl mentioned that "Christ in Our Home" gives scripture suggestions that go along with the upcoming Sunday's scripture as well as other companion type verses to read and how these could be used to help a person pray and listen to God. The pictures above show the cover of the October - December "Christ in Our Home" and a sample page of what you will find for each day. "Christ in Our Home" is a daily devotional published by Augsburg Fortress. The $11 yearly subscription fee gives you four devotionals for the year. If you would like to subscribe to this, Kay Michaelson will have an envelope and sign up sheet on the table outside the Chapel and she will get you subscribed to this devotional. Cash or checks (made out to Kay) will be fine. Use the sticky note on the table to label your cash with your name and place your check or cash in the provided envelope.

Thank you to Hope Lutheran Church of Sioux Center for gifting Living Faith with a baptismal font, paschal candle holder and a lectern. This set was gifted to Hope Lutheran years ago when they were starting up by a church in Rockwell City! These pieces will be used when Living Faith returns to worship in the Youth Room.

Living Faith also received a donation from Nazareth Lutheran Church in Armstrong, Iowa as their Synod Assembly offering.

Blessings continue to abound at Living Faith!
