Living Faith will gather on Sunday following worship for a light lunch during which we will begin the process of looking at where we are now, reminiscing about where we have been, and dreaming out the future of Living Faith! This is an exciting time of sharing with one another and coming together to build consensus. Planning for Living Faith's future will not take place in one session. There will be two more visioning sessions: May 31 and June 28. All three sessions, led by Pastor Paige, will be different so if you are available to attend all three, please plan to! We look forward to getting together and hearing from you all! Please keep this time of visioning for Living Faith in your daily prayers!

Worshipers gathered on Sunday to hear the familiar story from Luke of the two disciples on the road to Emmaus and their encounter with the risen Jesus. Thank you to Pastor Paige for leading our time of worship, Gail Kass for her piano accompaniment, Kim Lang for reading scripture, Todd Lang for assisting with Holy Communion and Peg McAllister for providing the bread for Communion and preparing the elements. Thank you as well to Tim Kass for ushering and running the sound system and Angela Catton for live streaming our service.

Thank you to all who helped after worship: Yvonne Law, Sharon Utesch, Brian and Kay Michaelson, Tim and Gail Kass, and Todd and Kim Lang.
Next Sunday

YOU are welcome to Living Faith on Sunday, April 26! Living Faith worships in the sanctuary of the Presbyterian United Church of Christ (858 7th Ave. SE) in Le Mars, Iowa at 11:00 AM. Travis Balt will accompany us on the piano, Kay Michaelson will read scripture, and Sue Stream will assist with communion. Tim Kass will greet you at the door with a bulletin and Angela Catton will live stream our service.
Sunday Bible Study

Sunday will be the final day of our 9:30 Bible Study time for the season. Come join us as Pastor Paige leads us into a deeper dive of one of our lessons for Sunday! Thank you to Pastor Paige for her thoughtful discussions throughout these past months!

Fellowship time with our PUCC friends takes place during the 10:00 - 11:00 hour in the Fellowship Hall of the PUCC. Gail Kass will be hosting on Sunday. Enjoy some coffee, goodies and conversation following Bible Study!

Lunch will be served after worship on Sunday featuring sandwiches, chips and a drink. BUT..... you do not want to miss the smorgasbord of sweet treats provided by Karen Schroeder, Debbie Gibson, Cheryl Juhl, Sue Stream and Sharon Utesch! Thank you to these 5 for capping off our lunch in a sweet way!
Noisy Offering Sunday

Sunday will be Noisy Offering Sunday. This box will be out on the Living Faith table in the narthex for you to drop your spare change off. This year our Noisy Offering is designated for Pastor Paige's online ministry, Fully Beloved.

Confirmation classes will meet this Wednesday, April 22nd, at 7:00 at Christ Lutheran Church, rural Brunsville. Classes are led by Pastor Paige McGrath and Vicar Grace Baumgartel.
Thank You!

Thank you to Pastor Paige, Bailey Quanbeck and Todd and Kim Lang who represented Living Faith at last weekend's synod assembly in Sergeant Bluff. Bailey gave a recap of the assembly during worship on Sunday. Please see any delegate if you have questions about the actions of the assembly!

Saturday at 10:00

Pastor Paige is moving to her new home at 657 Greenwood Avenue on Saturday! We are lining up moving help and will meet at her current home: 11 2nd St. NW; Apt. #4 at 10:00! We have 3 pickups and could use one more to load bigger items. Thank you to Tim Kass and Julie Hurt for providing moving trailers which will be a big help! We have 4 SUV's coming to haul smaller loads. If you would like to help lift and carry boxes from one home to another, we would welcome your muscle! Helpers will not go unfed! Karen Schroeder, Yvonne Law and Kay Michaelson are planning a grab and go lunch once you arrive at Pastor Paige's new home!

On Sunday, May 3, we will be honoring our first Living Faith high school graduate, Kortney Kopperud! There will be a joint reception in the PUCC Fellowship Hall from 10:00 - 11:00 AM for Kortney and the PUCC graduates. During our Living Faith 11:00 worship service, we will further recognize Kortney and bless her journey this fall as she moves to college.

There is still time to make your way to Holland Plaza Theater in Orange City to see the movie Pastoral! You do not need advanced tickets to attend this show which can be seen through Wednesday. Showtimes are 7:30 PM Monday - Wednesday.
