Join Pastor Paige in the Chapel of the PUCC on Thursday, April 17 at 7:00 PM for our Maundy Thursday worship which will feature volunteer foot-washing, Holy Communion and the stripping of the altar. Dawn Richards will accompany us at this service.

To find the Chapel, enter the south facing door from the parking lot or the doors under the portico and go down the hallway, turning right at the end. Turn left at the PUCC office area and go all the way down that hallway and the doors to the Chapel will be ahead.

With all the special services planned for this week, we are in need of volunteers for the following days:

Maundy Thursday: Need a Communion server and one more person to assist with stripping the altar.

Good Friday: Need one more reader.

Please let Kay Michaelson know if you would be able to assist with any of these needs!

If you have volunteered to provide a flowering plant for Easter Sunday or would still like to bring one, please take them to the Fellowship Hall by Thursday or Friday of this week. Thank you!

April 27 - Another BIG day at Living Faith!
April 27 - Another BIG day at Living Faith!

Wear your Living Faith gear on Sunday, April 27 as we worship together at 11:00 in the Sanctuary and following worship, celebrate the milestones we have worked towards these past months!

We will adjourn from worship to enjoy a meal catered by Mama Barb's to celebrate our status as a full-fledged congregation and our joy at welcoming our new pastor: Paige McGrath!

We will take a group picture before the meal and following the meal, we will hold our Annual Meeting where we will elect a new Church Council and approve a budget for the remainder of 2025 and we will look back at how we have worked to serve others over this past year!

There is much to celebrate at Living Faith and we need YOU to be a part of the celebration! Sign up on the sheet in the narthex to indicate if you plan to attend the meal!

Living Faith's Annual Report will be emailed out to all shortly and hard copies will be available at church!

Other Events Happening on April 27!

2025 Lenten Season Wraps Up

Living Faith and the PUCC held their final Lenten activities last Wednesday. We are grateful for Kjersten Rathke and Rachel Cunningham who faithfully led us in the Holden Evening Prayer liturgy each week!

We welcomed Michel and Berth Lundula to the sanctuary as they told us about their important ministry in their home country, the Congo.

Thank you to all who provided for our final Lenten meal: Sandy Heeren, Kari Kopperud, Yvonne Law, Kay Michaelson, Sharon Utesch, Rachel Cunningham, Peg McAllister, Kay Allen and Gail Kass. Thank you to Tim Kass who brewed the coffee each week for us and to all who helped with clean up!

Following our meal, Pastor Jan led us in our final discussion session. As a result of our discussions over these weeks of Lent, we decided as an action item to hold a drive for items that the Lundulas need for their next trip in September to the Congo. We will contact them for a specific list of needs and hold a drive in conjunction with the PUCC later this summer! We also discussed holding a winter coat drive in September for the clients of LSI as this was described as a great need by our guest speaker from that organization!
