On the Second Sunday of Easter, Living Faith gathered to continue the celebration of our risen Lord! Thank you to Pastor Paige for leading worship and Gail Kass for accompanying us on the piano.

Yvonne Law read Scripture and Bailey Quanbeck assisted with Holy Communion. Jenni Mack live-streamed our service and Tim Kass ushered and ran the sound board.

Thank you to all who assisted after the service: Todd and Kim Lang, Tim and Gail Kass, Brian and Kay Michaelson, Yvonne Law and Cheryl Juhl.
Next Week

Living Faith welcomes you to worship with us on Sunday, April 19th, at 11:00 AM. We worship in the sanctuary of the Presbyterian United Church of Christ at 858 7th Ave. SE in Le Mars. Tim Kass will greet you at the door with a bulletin. Gail Kass will accompany us on the piano, Kim Lang will read scripture, Todd Lang will assist with Holy Communion and Angela Catton will live-stream our service. If you cannot attend in person, please find our Living Faith page on Facebook to worship there with us!

Bible Study with Pastor Paige takes place at 9:30 on Sunday mornings in Room 105. Come join us for an hour of digging deeper into the scriptures we will hear that morning during worship. Our last study hour for the season will be on April 26th.

Living Faith will be holding a Visioning Session on Sunday, April 26th after worship. A light meal will be served before the meeting. After the meal, Pastor Paige will lead us through activities to promote discussion on where we are now, where we've been and where we would like to go as a congregation. There will be 3 sessions in total, so mark your calendars for the other two: May 31 and June 28.
Please plan to be a part of these very important discussions and dreams for the future of Living Faith!

Confirmation classes will take place on Wednesday, April 15th, at 7:00 at Christ Lutheran Church outside of Brunsville. Confirmation mentors will attend this session.

The Western Iowa Synod Assembly will take place on Friday and Saturday at the Sergeant Bluff Community Center. Pastor Paige, Todd & Kim Lang and Bailey Quanbeck will be delegates representing Living Faith. Offering for the Assembly will go towards the Western Iowa Pig Project and the Western Iowa Synod Fund for Leaders. Living Faith will take a $500 offering to the Assembly to support these two ministries. Please keep Bishop Dalen and our Living Faith delegates in your prayers as they work to uphold the ministries of the Western Iowa Synod.

The Board of Noah's Ark Preschool is hosting a Sunday Brunch on April 19th in the Fellowship Hall of the PUCC from 10:00 - 10:45. There is a free will offering which will benefit the mission of Noah's Ark Preschool. The preschool will be open for tours during the brunch.

Pastor Paige is moving to Greenwood Avenue on Saturday, April 25th and help is needed for this move! Check out the sign up sheet on the Living Faith table in the narthex: There are sign up slots for pickups, SUV's, muscle, and catering! Check it out and if you're free on the 25th at 10:00 AM, sign up to make quick work of the move! If you cannot be in church on the 19th to sign up, please let me know if you would like to help out and I will get you down. (There is a rain plan on the 25th at 10:00 so the move will take place rain or shine!)

For our Visioning Meeting on April 26, a light meal will be provided and there is a sign up sheet on the Living Faith table in the narthex for volunteers to bring a sweet treat to finish up our meal!

Living Faith has been written about in the Living Lutheran magazine! Pastor Paige and Mark Juhl were interviewed for this article. Here is the link to it if you haven't read it yet! https://www.livinglutheran.org/living-faithfully/serving-like-christ/
