This Sunday!
This Sunday!

Pastor Paige McGrath will preside over Pentecost services at Living Faith on Sunday, May 24th. Living Faith worships within the sanctuary of the Presbyterian United Church of Christ which is located at 858 7th Ave. SE in Le Mars. Service begins at 11:00 AM. Travis Balt will accompany us on the piano. Tim Kass will serve as usher and Angela Catton will live stream our service for viewing on Living Faith's Facebook page. We are in need of someone to read scripture and someone to assist with Holy Communion. If you would like to help out with either of these tasks, please contact Kay Michaelson. Wear red in observance of this special day!

2nd Visioning Session on May 31st

Following worship on May 31st, all are invited to stay for a light meal in the Fellowship Hall and participate in the second visioning session for Living Faith. Pastor Paige will walk us through a session that will be different in focus from the first, so if you attended Session 1, please come to this second one! We need YOU to help chart Living Faith's future!

For our meal on the 31st, we will have one of those famous Living Faith potlucks! There is a sign up sheet on the Living Faith table in the narthex for items to bring: main dish, salad or other side dish, and dessert. The Council will provide the beverages. The potluck will be held immediately following worship that day.

Saturday, June 20th - Ice Cream Days Parade

Living Faith will be stepping out at 9:30 AM on Saturday, June 20th with an entry in the Ice Cream Days Parade! The theme for this year's float is: "Everybody needs a little Jesus!" On Sunday, June 7, Living Faith kids will be decorating some of the placards that will be held on this year's float! Many volunteers will be needed for this special event: at least 6 people to ride on the float, 8 people to walk and hand out little Jesuses and candy, and 2 people to ride in the pickup to replenish the walkers' buckets throughout the route.

There are sign up sheets on the Living Faith table in the narthex for all the above volunteers as well as a sign up for people willing to donate candy to hand out. Sign up today!
