Last Sunday at Living Faith!

Pastor Paige led worship on the Fourth Sunday of Easter with a message centered on Jesus as our shepherd with a tie in to mothers on Mother's Day! Find our live stream on Facebook to hear her message and a very thoughtful prayer about mothers! Thank you to Pastor Paige for your leadership in worship, Dawn Richards for providing our piano accompaniment, John and Peg McAllister for preparing communion, Peg for reading scripture, John for assisting with communion, Angela Catton for live streaming our service, Tim Kass for setting up our worship space, ushering and running the sound system, and Sandy Heeren, Brian Michaelson, and Kinley and Anniston Van Otterloo for helping to clean up our worship space!

Recognition was made of mothers and all females of Living Faith with a PowerPoint presentation and distribution of flowers prior to a group picture.

Look What's New at Living Faith!

Thanks to the generosity of Noah's Ark Preschool, the Presbyterian United Church of Christ and Mark and Angela Catton, Living Faith has a new street side sign along 7th Ave. SE! Noah's Ark Preschool had a sign in this spot, but with the large Preschool banner on the side of the church building, the PUCC and its Session offered this sign space to Living Faith! Last week the installation began with under the guidance of Mark Catton. Helping Mark with this project were his son, Corey, his grandson, William Elbert and William's other grandfather, Don Elbert! Thank you, gentlemen! It looks wonderful!

The next step for our sign will be to do some landscaping under the sign. If you would like to help with planting flowers, please let Kay know or sign up on the sign up sheet on the Living Faith table in the Narthex of the PUCC.
