Last Week
Living Faith was back in the Chapel of the PUCC for our 11:00 worship service! We welcomed Pastor Halaas back to Le Mars fresh off a trip to the northwestern part of the US! We also welcomed Mike Rathke to the piano in the chapel. Thank you to Peg McAllister, Debbie Gibson, Kari Kopperud and Karen Schroeder for their contributions to our worship!

This Week
Living Faith will celebrate our fathers living and in heaven and all males of our church! Pastor Halaas will preside over worship and Mike Rathke will accompany us on the piano. Nathan Summerside will read Scripture and Kari Kopperud will assist with Holy Communion. Ardis Boetger will greet you at the door!

We had a lot of catching up to do last week at Faith + Fellowship! Thank you to Kari Kopperud and Sharon Utesch for bringing treats for the morning! Yum!
This week we will gather at 10:00 in Room 103 to continue the conversation and discover lessons in this week's Gospel reading! Join us, please!

Living Faith Is Gearing Up for Ice Cream Days!
Come on out to the Ice Cream Days Parade at 9:00 this Saturday morning to see Living Faith's parade float: "Taste and See that the Lord Is Good"! When you see us pass by, take a photo and send it to Angela or Kay!
Give a wave to our float riders: Gail Kass, Sharon Utesch, John McAllister, Yvonne Law, Dell and June Ferguson, Mark Juhl, Shawn Shipley and Melinda Shipley. Float riders should report to our boulevard location between 8:30 and 8:45. Be watching the forecast to know if you should bring rain gear!
Look for our parade walkers handing out candy and color-changing spoons with Living Faith information: Peg McAllister, Mark and Angela Catton, Jess Kopperud, Kay Michaelson and Pastor Halaas.
Thank you to all who have donated candy for the parade: Debbie Gibson, Mark and Cheryl Juhl, Sharon Utesch, Peg McAllister, Angela Catton, Kay Michaelson, Karen Schroeder, Linda Mayrose, Kim Lang, Julie Hurt and Yvonne Law. If you didn't drop off your candy at church on Sunday, you can get it to Kay Michaelson (1501 2nd Ave. SE) this week or bring it to our line-up location on the boulevard at 8:30 Saturday morning.
We are unit #74 in the parade and with having that number, we should be on the boulevard near the high school and its north parking lot. So parking at the high school and walking north to the boulevard should put you near to where our float will be parked. The float will be in place by 8 AM. Those helping to decorate should arrive between 8 and 8:15.
Many hands have been and will be working on putting the float together on Saturday morning: Tim Kass, Mark Juhl, Kari Kopperud, Angela Catton, Peg McAllister, and Kay Michaelson.

Sunday We Celebrate Living Faith Fathers!
Who belongs to each of these fathers? Email or text your favorite picture of your father if you have not done so! We'd love to feature him along with these gentlemen!
