Living Faith Weekly News (Week of July 9)

Dave and Rich will be leading worship music for Living Faith this Sunday in the park!

Last Week

32 worshipers gathered at Living Faith on Sunday. Our offering totaled $2,340. We have also received a gift from Good Hope Lutheran Church in Titonka, Iowa of $500 and an additional Western Iowa Synod Assembly donation of $250.

Thank you to Pastor Jay Denne for presiding at worship, Tim Kass for ushering for us, Debbie Gibson for reading scripture and Karen Schroeder for assisting with Communion.

This Week

This coming Sunday we will gather at 11:00 at O'Toole Park (north end of Central Avenue) for an outdoor worship service! Bring a blanket or lawn chair!

Pastor Jay Denne will be leading worship and we will be blessed with the musical talents of Dave Grosenheider and Rich Ziettlow to lead us in music during worship! Holy Communion will be celebrated. Kay Michaelson will be the reader and Kim Lang will assist with Communion.

Following worship, we invite all to stay for a picnic lunch! Grilled burgers will be provided and we ask members to bring either a side dish or a dessert to share. Table service and bottled water will be provided by the Leadership Team.

In case of rainy weather, we will be in the Chapel at the PUCC at 11:00 and our meal will follow in the PUCC Fellowship Hall.

Because of the time needed to set up for worship in O'Toole Park on Sunday, there will be no 10:00 Faith + Fellowship Time.

Faith + Fellowship will return to the schedule on Sunday, July 23rd!

What has the Leadership Team been up to?

Your Leadership Team is busy putting the final touches on the Ministry Site Profile we have been asked to submit. Once the profile is submitted, we will have a hard copy for you to review on the sign up table in the lobby.
