Living Faith observed the Sixth Sunday after Pentecost with a confession and prayers which commemorated the US semi quincentennial of the United States. Pastor Paige delivered a reading from Martin Luther's treatise "On the Freedom of a Christian". Please hop on to Living Faith's Facebook page to listen!

Morning Vacation Bible School!
Students ages 4 through going into 5th grade are welcome to come to Room 105, the Living Faith office, at 9:00 AM for a mini-VBS experience centered on the theme God's Garden: Sowing Seeds of Love! The session will run through 10:45! Pastor Paige will lead the morning's action! Registration forms can be turned in to Pastor Paige when you arrive. Email Kay at bkmich4@gmail.com if you would like a form sent to you this week!
Outdoor Worship!
Living Faith will gather on the front lawn of the Presbyterian United Church of Christ (858 7th AVe. SE) at 11:00 AM for a time of praise, prayer, song, contemplation and community! Bring a lawn chair or a blanket for your seating. Pastor Paige will lead worship with the VBS students helping out! Pastor Paige, Rich Ziettlow and Gail Kass will lead our music for the hour. Karen Schroeder will read scripture and Sue Stream will assist with Holy Communion. Tim Kass will make sure you have a bulletin and Angela Catton will live stream our service. Join us in the shade to worship in creation!
Picnic Lunch!
Following worship, round out the morning by attending the picnic lunch in the Fellowship Hall of the PUCC! We could use 2 more volunteers to bring items for each category of main dish, side dish, and dessert. Let Kay know if you can bring something! Those who have volunteered to date: Main dish - Kay Michaelson, Mark Catton, Sue Stream; Side dish - Yvonne Law, Kay Allen, Jean Ziettlow, and Bailey Quanbeck; Dessert - Gail Kass, Sharon Utesch, and Sandy Heeren. Lemonade, water and coffee will be provided along with the tableware.
Wednesday, July 8th
The Mutual Ministry Committee will meet on Wednesday, July 8th at 5:30 PM in the Living Faith office.
The Church Council will meet Monday, July 13th at 6:00 PM in the Living Faith Office.
Living Faith Night at the Le Mars Municipal Band Concert
Living Faith-ers are invited to attend the Wednesday, July 15th Municipal Band Concert in Foster Park on Central Avenue in Le Mars at 7:30 PM! Wear your Living Faith gear, bring your lawn chair or blanket, and settle in for a night of music with the theme "Sea to Shining Sea!"
The PUCC is collecting school supplies to fill the school bags they are crafting. These filled bags will be sent to those in need in the US as well as overseas. The graphic below lists the supplies needed for each bag. You are invited to donate all or some of these items. There is a collection basket for these items on the PUCC table in the narthex. Thank you!
Duct tape extras are out on the Living Faith table in the narthex of the PUCC. Stop by and pick up a roll for that next fixer upper project on your list!
Thank you to the brave individual, Rachel Cunningham, who worked last week to install new back lighting for the large cross in the front of the sanctuary! Thank you also to Steve Beveridge for assisting Rachel. The new lights can be programmed to change color and movement!

Blessings to Pastor Scott Engbers who was installed as pastor for First Lutheran Church in Sioux City recently. Pastor Engbers served Living Faith from time to time in 2024.
Best wishes to the Halaas' as they relocating from Sioux City to Little Canada, Minnesota on July 16th. Pastor Halaas and Bishop Lorna were instrumental in the beginnings of Living Faith!
