Thank you to Pastor Paige for leading worship on Transfiguration Sunday and sharing her mountain climbing story! Her message to us through the Gospel lesson of the Transfiguration: Listen to Jesus! Go through the book of Matthew and listen to all the words of instruction for us from Jesus!
Thank you to all others who helped in worship and afterwards: Travis Balt, Todd Lang, Tim Kass, Emmett Kass, Sybil Kass, Dawn Richards, Angela Catton, John and Peg McAllister, Kay Allen, Brian Michaelson, Yvonne Law, Kay Michaelson, and Kinley and Anniston Van Otterloo.

Living Faith surely knows how to potluck! Members organized a "Surprise Potluck" on Sunday after worship to thank Pastor Paige and the members of the Church Council for their work this past year!
Thank you to the organizers for the flowers and goodie bags gifted to Pastor Paige and Council members!

"Thank you to ALL who brought all the DELCICIOUS food and helped with setting it out and cleaning up!" reports Sharon Utesch and Gail Kass, two of the organizers. Many others helped to get the word out and make sure this was a special meal for all who attended!

This was a wonderful time of fellowship and good food to share together!

On Wednesday, February 18th, all are invited to Living Faith's Ash Wednesday service at 5:00 PM in the sanctuary of the Presbyterian United Church of Christ at 858 7th Ave. SE. This service will feature a Thanksgiving for Baptism, the Imposition of Ashes and Holy Communion. Pastor Paige will preside over the service, Clara Kass will read scripture and Peg McAllister will assist with Holy Communion. Tim Kass will greet you at the door with a bulletin, Travis Balt will accompany us on the piano and Kay Michaelson will live stream the service. Please join us for this special service that signals the beginning of the 2026 Lenten season.

Come be a part of our worship on Sunday and hear a message from Pastor Paige. 11:00 AM is the worship time for Living Faith and we are located at 858 7th Ave. SE in Le Mars.
Dawn Richards will accompany us on the piano. Judd Kopperud will read scripture and Kari Kopperud will assist with Holy Communion.

Start your Sunday out well with a trip to Room 105 at 9:30 AM for a Bible Study with Pastor Paige! There's a chair around the table waiting for you!

The PUCC is hosting brunch before every church service during the season of Lent from 10:00 - 11:00 AM in the Fellowship Hall. Come attend Bible Study at 9:30 and then enjoy breakfast and conversation with our PUCC friends before our 11:00 worship!

It doesn't seem possible but Sunday is already the last Sunday of the month so that means the Noisy Offering box will be out on the Living Faith table in the narthex! Stop by the table and drop off your spare change!

Lenten devotionals are available for all to pick up to use during this season of Lent! There are also activity sheets for young people to do in conjunction with the devotions in the Outpoured booklet.

There are just a few more items needed for our first Lenten meal - a Potluck - on Wednesday, February 25th. This meal will take place at 6:00 PM in the Fellowship Hall followed by our 7:00 Lenten service.
There is also a sign up sheet for the next meal on March 4th, a soup and sandwich meal.

Bible Camp information is also out on the Living Faith table with notifications of camp dates and times for students as well as family camp information.

There are lots of opportunities in the upcoming weeks for help needed during our worship services! If you would like to read scripture or assist with Holy Communion, check the schedule on the Living Faith table and sign up for the date that works for you!

Brian and Kay Michaelson will be delivering Meals on Wheels this week. Living Faith has all our routes spoken for except for a route the week of March 9th. Please consider helping out with this ministry to our community! There is a sign up sheet on a bulletin board near the PUCC sign up table.

The Church Council will meet on Tuesday, February 17, at 6:30 in Room 105.

You can access the online editions at livingfatihlutheran.org.
You can also set up a free digital membership which will allow you to access Lenten and Easter supports for your faith journey: Prayer ventures, weekly reflections on the readings during Lent, and voices of faith.

Thank you to Pastor Trish Underberg for donating an iPad and stand for Living Faith's live-streaming use! If you would like to learn how to help with live-streaming, please let Angela Catton know! This gift will allow greater ease in offering online worship experiences to those who cannot worship with us in person! Thank you, Pastor Trish!
